Make New Friends @ Murder Mystery Party (Saturday)

Our next social tournament is Murder Mystery Party on Saturday, 25th October at The Secret Garden in Lavington (Next to The Social House). 

Please note that we're hosting the same event on the 24th and 26th of October -- but you're ticket is only valid for the specific day you choose. 

If you're coming on Saturday, 25th October, the event will start at 6 p.m. and end at 11 P.M.
 

The ticket is inclusive of a dinner buffet, a drink, and a murder mystery party experience. 

What's a Murder Mystery Party? 

First thing to get out of the way -- don't actually murder anyone. 

A murder mystery party is an interactive, role-playing game where guests assume the roles of characters in a fictional crime scenario to solve a "murder". Each guest receives a character with a secret background, motive, and objectives, and must use information to figure out who among them is the murderer. Think of it as part dinner party, part theatre, part detective show — except you and the other guests are the characters.

Here's how it works:

Everyone plays a role. Before the event, guests get assigned characters with short backstories — like “the jealous ex” or "the bitter business rival". Each person has clues, secrets, and motives.

A “murder” happens. At some point during the event, a “murder” is announced (sometimes even one of the guests “dies”), and the rest of the night is spent investigating who did it.

Guests mingle and investigate. People question each other, share (or hide) clues, and form theories — all while staying in character.

There will be food, drinks, music, and laughter as everyone tries to figure out the culprit before the “detective” reveals the truth. 

And yes, you can dress up in a costume to fit your character for the murder mystery party. 

All suspects will be arrested to take mugshots and put on a murder map on the wall to follow the chain of events. We'll also have evidence clues at the crime scene that will help you solve the murder.
